Privacy policy for E3 Chauffør
E3 Chauffør is the app drivers at E3 Spedition Transport A/S use for trips, stops, messages and trailer checks. The app and the office view are run by DORA on behalf of E3.
This page describes what the app and the office view process, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible
- E3 Spedition Transport A/S is the data controller for data about drivers and trips. DORA (Dora Nordic ApS) processes the data on behalf of E3 as data processor.
- Questions about the processing: rh@doratms.com.
What data
- Driver code, name and company. The PIN is stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read by anyone.
- Trips, stops and tasks that E3's planning system (Transpas) sends to the driver.
- What the driver records: arrival, departure, waiting time, deviations, pallets, photos of goods, damage and documents, the receiver's signature and name, trailer protocols and messages.
- Location: only when the driver taps in the app, for example arrival, departure, photo or deviation. It is saved with that registration and is not sent continuously. The app does not use location in the background.
- Driving licence, driver card, ADR certificate and other certificates that the driver adds under Profile, with photo, number and expiry date.
- The text on papers such as consignment notes and delivery notes is read automatically (Amazon Textract in the EU) so the office can search it. Photos of goods and damage, signatures and the driver's own certificates are not read.
- From the warehouse: registrations of empty pallets and temperature checks with photo and signature.
- A push address for the phone, so the driver is told about new trips, changes and messages.
- Technical: app version and phone type when the driver signs in.
- For office users: name, e-mail, role and a log of changes they make.
Why
- So the driver can carry out the trip, and so E3 can follow the trip, document delivery and deviations, settle waiting time and pallets, and answer customers.
- Location documents where each registration was made and is sent to Transpas. It is not used for anything else.
- Data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared for tracking across apps.
Who receives the data
- E3 Spedition Transport A/S and E3's planning system Transpas.
- Suppliers that run the solution for DORA: Amazon Web Services (servers and storage in Ireland, EU), Expo, Apple and Google (delivery of push notifications), Sentry (error reports from the server and the office view, without personal data, EU).
How long
- Locations are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Server logs are deleted after 90 days.
- Trips, registrations, photos, signatures and messages are kept for the retention period set by E3 and then deleted automatically. Without a set period they are kept while E3 uses the solution.
- When the driver signs out, the trips, messages and drafts stored on the phone are deleted.
Security
- All traffic is encrypted (TLS). Data is encrypted on the servers. Access requires sign-in, and each company only sees its own data.
Your rights
- Drivers and users have the right to access, correct and in some cases erase their data, and the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk). Contact E3 or rh@doratms.com.
